Hello to all, the holidays are diffinately over and the real hustle and bustle is here. HaHaHaHa I will continue to share my daily success of being smoke free, this is part of my success plan, plus I like to share with folks that can appreciate the struggle of being smoke free. All is going well, the toughest part of my day is driving home from work. About 3 p.m. I start thinking whew the day is done, then the thought of that smoke comes to mind, so far ignoring it has been successful. Hope everyone has a great day. Chat soon. Hey Deb, Thanks for asking! I'm hanging in there with ya, although I may have three butts before it is all over with. I haven't had a problem wanting to munch until today. ARGH! Today I'm counting how many times the cig icon runs through my head. It runs through my brain making faces, daring me to come and get it. I've been exploding it, and my head resembles a fireball, but I have not smoked. Thought about keeping track of how many times it popped up... the renegade cig icon. It's a jerk! Feel like I may be getting a cold or something, but other than that, I'm doing well! Still proud of myself. I might be a B$%^h at times, but I won't smoke! I'm a little like 2tone said in his earlier post... I feel a roller coaster ride coming on, and need to decide how I'm going to deal with it. Right now, though I'm busy with the renegade icons! Have a wonderful weekend! I'll be around here. I'm having a party Sun morning after Week 1 is complete! Join me Deb and anyone else?

Good Job Deb, The ride home from work was tough for me to. I tried listening to different radio stations to change up the routine a little, and then I purchased my own CD for the car (yeah, I didn't have to borrow one from the kid's). That helped alot to change the environment of the car a little. Good luck and keep us posted...stay strong!!! Hey Slivers. One thing that worked for me with great success for the first few days while really fresh and keen about not smoking is: Don't agonize through each withdrawal, deny it. Repudiate it, tell it that it does not exist. Don't allow yourself to believe in it. They didn't last more than one or two seconds after I told them to get lost!
