Yep, you're already going to set yourself up for failure with that kind of thinking.
Won't they think you more crazy every day you stay away?
And who really cares WHAT they think.
It should only matter what YOU think.
And you'd best be thinking that it is the beginning of your journey and taking control!!
Again, it will take some practice..But half the BATTLE is the FIRST TIME YOU DO IT..
I mean, I can't believe the difference from Friday morning and this morning...like day and night...and that was only AFTER ONE TIME EXPERIENCING SUCCESS...
as I told you the first time I was a bit iffy, but not enough to make me lose my resolve!! By making myself do it anyway, it made it sooooooo easy this morning.. :)
Well My exposure therapy starts on Tuesday.I am afraid these teachers will think I am crazy. Thats A negative Thought. After I expose my self to the school again will it get easier?
I think it's a good analogy.
The only difference, is that I'm convinced that I've overcome mine. Today driving the freeway TO work was soooo completely normal, it was if I had never had the phobia in the first place.
This was using exposure and distraction and thinking only positive thoughts...
It's worked for others, it can work for you....
YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!! :)
I know this after you s****e away all the depression the core issue is classroom phobia. Your driving phobia is no differant then mine . It is just something we have yo overcome .What do you think of my anology?
No this is a small town outside of New Orleans they do not have bus tranpoptation .The only way you get around is by car.So I guess I will go Tuesday. I will make alist of things I will dicuss. The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray.
Kitcat
That makes a lot of sence I went out to my car and forgot it has ilockin gas cap and she has the key. so I guess iwill have yo wait until Tuesday to go up. I am so frustraded. Can you relate to that?
