Hi there! You are right, exposure work is really great for us. It helps us face our fears!!
In terms of tricks, i usually just keep reminding myself that nothing can happen to me in these situations. For example, when i'm out doing exposure work, i always get nervous and i fear every symptom i experience such as dizziness, heavy breathing etc. But then i just think objectively and remind myself that no matter how scared I am of fainting from anxiety, its NOT gonna happen. It cannot happen!! These facts usually calm me down! Everything we fear happening usually cannot happen anyways. So thats something u can think about!!!
