Hi Debbi! HOw are you? I'm sorry to hear about this new symptom. I also think its part of the anxiety. Even though you were not anxious at that moment, maybe deep deep down inside (subconsiously) you are thinking about anxiety. To tell u the truth, this anxiety happens because of our subconsious fear and thoughts of it. Sometimes you are NOT aware of these thoughts....because they are so deep within you. And it may have happened to you at night(in bed) because when you are dosing off to sleep, this is when your most in tune with ur subconsiousness. So maybe thats why this hot flush took place. I actually read that one of the symptoms of anxiety can be feelings of cold or hot flushes. So dont' worry. am i making sense? I hope i have helped a bit. HOpe you feel better soon debbi! I'm so glad you and your family are ok after that hurricaine! God bless! p.s: hey maybe ur mother-in-law is right! Maybe God is healing you with his heat! Try to think of it in that positive way!

Thank you Lynn, I was so hoping it was perimenopause, but you are young and it is probably anxiety, my Mother-in-law said it was "god healing me with the heat" would that not be nice, I do not think so but its a sweet thought on her part. What floored me was both times it was when I was NOT anxious in fact the first time I was so relaxed, its interesting you should mention the Paxil I am taking that too, I just wonder if its one of the side effects?? I wish I could just accept this is all anxiety and I am not dying of some illness, that step may lead to my recovery, are you still on Paxil? Do you take anything else? I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks and God bless, Debbie.

Hello, I wanted to ask everyone if they ever had this happen to them, my Doctor did not seem to know. I am still having all the other "fun" symptoms but this one kind of threw me, 3 nights ago I was dozing off very relaxed for a change and I felt a very hot hot sensation come over my whole body, it was like intense heat up and down my body, I was not sweating or chilling, it shook me up but then went away, this morning as I woke up the same thing happened, a real intense heat flush up and down my body, like I was put in a oven or something, I do not have a fever, this is scaring me, I am still feeling very dizzy and nacous and shaky and this adds to it. That could not of been a "hot flash" could it?? I know after one of those you sweat and get all cold and clammy and that did not happen, could that flushing be anxiety even when I was not anxious?? Each time it happened I was in a "half-sleep" I do not think it was panic. I hope it goes away, I have so many other symptoms to deal with and do NOT need another one, the Paxil is still not helping and that worries me, right now I am very anxious and trying to fight off a panic attack. If anyone has ever had this flushing heat feeling please write me and let me know. I hope everyone is well today. Thank you, GOd bless, Debbie.
