Linden Method

Can someone please help me with this. I need to know if anybody has tried this and if it is as good as what the site makes out. I don't know what else to do. I have had my down moments just like anybody else but I have never felt this bad and down before. I feel like a prisoner in my own home. I am just sitting around constantly anxious and don't know what to do. I just want to get back to being normal again and be able to go out again. I have read at another site that this cannot be cured but only helped to be made more managable. Is this true? If you have this, you can never be cured? Also has anybody read the book 'The power of positive thinking' by Norman Vincent Peale? I have not read it myself but someone told me that it is a really good book.

Thanks for replying. I was looking at the 12 part programme here but didn't think that it would work. The reason that I don't think that it will work is because I have already attended a councilor and had CBT. It was at the end of my CBT that things have dramatically gotten worse. Instead of just social anxiety, I am now trapped in my own home, constantly anxious. That is why I said that when I have looked around the net everything seems to point to The Linden Method and was hoping that somebody here may have tried it and let me know if it is any good. Like you said, it is quite expensive, and even though he offers your full money back if you aren't satisfied, it is still a lot of money to fork over and time to give up if it isn't something that is going to work.

I've looked at the Linden Method - someone sent it to me. It is extremely expensive! The Panic Program offered on this website is free and teaches Cognitive Behavior Therapy. In comparison, and in my own experience, the Cognitive Behavior Therapy is so much more helpful! I'm using it and for the first time in 12 years actually have days with no panic. And I am feeling more in control than I have in a seriously long time!! I still have some panicky days but not as often and when I do have them, they're nowhere near the same intensity because I know what it is now and I know that I am in control of it - it is not in control of me. If you haven't tried the Panic Program yet, save yourself a few hundred dollars and use it before you try the Linden Method. Like I said, it is free and quite frankly, it is tons more helpful.

I have been looking around the net now for several weeks to try and find something that will help/cure me of my condition. Everywhere I go on the net it seems that all roads keep pointing to The Linden Method. I have had this condition for several months now and it has completely taken over my life. Everything is going from bad to worse. It started of with being anxious when talking to people that I didn€™t really know. Now several months later I am at the point where I can barely use a telephone without becoming anxious or having a panic attack. I am also at the point that I feel like a prisoner because I haven€™t been able to leave the street that I live on for the past three months without having a sever panic attack. The furthest I can seem to go is just a few houses away and my anxiety picks up and I need to turn around and go back home. This is something that has developed quite quickly. I was a little anxious when I went out, then one day out of the blue I was about ten minutes from my house and I had a sever anxiety attack. That was three months ago and I am now like this. I even have panic attacks at home for practically no reason at all. I have lost confidence, friends and now any self-respect that I once had. It is really getting me down and I just feel pathetic. I always was known as being a little bit of a worrywart but I have never been anywhere near as bad as this. The reason for this post is because, like I said, everywhere I go on the net it always seems to point to The Linden Method and I was wondering if anyone has tried this, and if they have, does it do what it says (eliminate anxiety and panic completely)? It is quite expensive I would be very grateful if someone could let me know if it works.
