a specific symptom

Just wondering if anyone else gets a horrible dizzy feeling like your'e going to pass out and at the same time feeling queasy and get dihorrea also sometimes with tingling/numbness in face or hands? I was told once by a doctor that it sounded like a mild epileptic fit and then I was told by another doctor that it was hyperventilation! I sometimes also get blurry vision and ringing ears or a sort of heightened sensitivity to sound. My arms and legs also feel incredibly heavy and like I can't control movements. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

When I get panic attacks, I feel very nauseous but never actually throw up. I do get diarrhea however. I always try to look at the bright side of things, at least when I have the panic attacks, it's an easy way to drop a few pounds quickly.

Hi thanks for responding. I used to take gravel for it but it made so sleepy and because anxiety already takes so much out of me, its hard to take. I should though, talk to the dr. about that specific symptom, it is almost unbearrible having this disorder let alone trying to find a washroom to throw up in. I'm wondering if not too many of you have this symptom. Maybe I'm unique. I know a lot of people have a fear of throwing up but actually don't. Corrina you would actually throw up from anxiety, when you first wake up?? I've never taken Celexa, how is it controlling your anxiety??? Carol

Carol, Sorry to hear that you end up throwing up 2 or 3x's. What if you took something for upset stomach? Or ask the doc there is this one type of pill for this that helps with the stomach, gosh i have read alot of people who is on it, and for the life of me i cannot seem to think of the pill. :quest: I to be honest would rather throw up then have the unreality feeling and the undetected feeling that scares me the worst out of everything when one comes on, or that feeling just stays with you for awhile. I have finally said that i am going to be put on meds the doctor said Zoloft so i am crossing my fingers this is going to help me even more. I am very afraid to take this medicine dont ask me why but i just get nervous when taking meds. Carol we are going to get through this, its down right hard but you know what it will maken us a stronger person... Wish you the best, and hope your symptom eases up on you :)

I was reading the List your Symptoms thread. I thought I'd start a new one, that one is too long. I get most of the same symptoms that everyone mentioned, but I not only get nausau, I throw up, not once usually 2 or 3 times, when I'm having a full blown panic attack. Just wonder if anyone else has that experience as well??? Carol
