Having a tough time

Kitt, Take the time to start a diary or journal. This may help in pinpointing triggers or areas that you can challenge. It is ok to take some you time and let your body and mind relax. Plan a little relaxation everyday for yourself and see the difference it can make. Work with your doctor or pharmacist with regards to medication dosages and effects :) Josie, Health Educator

Hello KittCat, Well first, I think (but what do I know) that if this persists, the best course of action is to go to your doctors and have tests done. Many different things can account for feelings of sadness and being tired. For example, at one point I was really sad and tired all the time and it turns out it wasn't due to depression at all but a very easy to fix medical reason. It was so simple to fix.And if you are depressed there are things that can be done to help you :) I would like to say tho that I have had periods like that where I was extremely tired and sad for a few days.It passed. Sometimes we just have a few really horrible days. So hang in there and remember this too shall pass. In the meantime be good and patient with yourself and try to do little things that will make you feel better :) -Diva

Hi all. Well, the good news is that I'm still doing exposure at work and have gotten through all that I've set out to do so far. The bad news is...I think I may be getting depressed. All of the sudden yesterday I felt like crying really badly. Nothing had happened to make me feel like crying-just an ordinary day. I tried to ignore it and go to the gym. Usually I feel so good after going to the gym! But I just felt flat and sad. I was supposed to clean up after dinner and I tried to, but it just felt so hard to. I just wanted to go to my bed and lay there. I felt like this again today. I took an ativan before I went to work today, because I was worried I might get worked up. Unlike every other time, the ativan seemed to have NO effect on me! I'm pretty scared. I don't know what's happening.
