Hi Seamsew,
I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time with the medication. I'm taking Prozac myself and experienced a lot of lethargy, contrasted with periods of anxiety, during the first week or so. I found it helpful to try and stay active and get as much exercise as possible. Even if it is only a short walk or working around the house it helps to keep busy. If you haven't tried this already I hope it helps and I'm sure things will improve quickly for you.

Seam,
Welcome to our support community and thanks for sharing your story. In regards to medications, it does take some time for your body to adjust, but please continue to work with your doctor and pharmacist regarding dosages and side effects.
Our program can also be beneficial in your progress. Take the time to take the anxiety test and take a copy to your doctor. This can help pinpoint areas that you can work on and better assess the situation for you both.
Continue to seek knowledge ( the site has an abundance :)) and post often. The members here know what you are going through and can be of great assistance to you :)

Hello Vanessa,
Boy, can I ever empathize with you. At times in my life I thought I was going out of my mind too. It seems tho that my mind has stayed in one piece after all and I am positive yours will too. Adjusting to new medications is alwas rough and dealing with this can be too... I really hope things turn around quickly for you! Hang in there and keep us posted on how you are doing :)
Remember, this too shall pass!

I hope that goes away. lately I have been having feelings of going crazy. I feel like Maybe it is not anxiety but I have lost my mind. who knows what I have. It has gotten so bad. I just hope I get better
