I also had a bit of this after a small accident.
There are some exercises you can do for the jaw. Maybe you can look some up on the net (not sure if they have it, but worth a try).
one of them is to open your mouth really wide, as much as you can open it. Hold for 5-7 seconds, and release slowly. Do this maybe 3 times when you feel tense.
Another one is to bring your jaw foward. What i mean is, bring the bottom part of your mouth foward (like your stretching your jaw). You look funny in the mirror when you do it, so dont worry! Hold that again for 5-7 seconds.
Mind you, im' not a physio therapist or doctor. So please dont hurt yourself. I just learned these from a physiotherapist i went to.
There are more exercises you can do that really help. As i said, talk to your doctor or even try looking it up on the net.
Hope you feel better. just hang in there! It will go away! And it IS CURABLE...i promise! Dont listen to them when they say its not. You can cure yourself from anything!
