Hi Angel. I tried downloading CBT Buddies but I can't get it to work. Do you use Yahoo Messenger? If you do am I allowed to reveal my user name? I'm not sure about that. Let me know.
hehe i know.....we need to figure out a way! It would be so funny if we lives so close to eachother! Well, did you download the CBT buddies? I did, but i hardly sign on anymore cause nobody is ever online lol. Let me know if u have it!!!
Hi Angel. I can't say I'm an expert with the whole job interview thing but if there's anything you want to know, ask away. I'm sure you'll be able to find a great job. Graduating from university is a great accomplishment in and of itself but I'm sure it has prepared you for whatever field you want to get into.
I understand what you mean about the heat. If I'm out for too long in the sun I start to get kind of light headed which of course leads to anxiety because I start to think something is wrong. I just try to limit my exposure, not just because of that but the sun isn't good for you these days anyway.
It would be great to meet someday because we must be practically neighbors. If only we could figure out a way to exchange e-mail addresses without breaking the rules. Let me know if you know a cheat!! LOL
Anyways, talk to you soon. Enjoy the rest of the week.
Anxious-in-Toronto....I'm so HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Congratssss! Just take a step back and look at what just happened: You just moved, you unpacked and settled down, you got an interview, you went to the interview (feeling nervous and anxious), AND YOU GOT THE JOB!!! Wow, those are a lot of things to go through in such a short period of time.......that is amazing! You go girl! I'm so happy that you got the job. It looks like moving was a good think in your life! Everything happens for a reason!
So you got through it! I'm sure you were nervous during the interview (like everyone else always is).....but you made it. And you succeeded! That is truly wonderful!
Its normal to feel nervous about getting a job too.....especially on your first day. But you can do it! Just like you got through the interview, you can do this too! I truly believe in you!
I'm doing well things. I have been just taking it easy after my graduation. Its wierd though beccause I really thought that after I finsihed university I would be calm and my mind would be clear. Well, i still feel stressed. Isn't that weird? I feel stressed out like everday and i'm not even working or in school. Thats the one thing that is pretty much bothering me. But other than that i have been alright. Tryign to keep busy like you hehe. Soon i will have to look for a job too and go through the same thing you did!!! So you can give me some tips on that later hehe!
Thanks so much for asking about me! I miss you so much! Hopefully one day we can meet eachother!!!!
enjoy the beautiful weather! (p.s: are you afraid of the heat? I used to love the heat. But now i'm so paranoid cause it makes me so hot and dizzy....it just reminds me of anxiety.....ugghhhh, silly me!) ;)
Anxious,
Good for you! This is a great step to be taking :) Take the time to go through the program and really prepare yourself. This can make a difference for your first day.
Try challenging your thoughts and also use the online support group to guide you through.
You can do this and congrats on the new job!
Keep Strong,
Josie
