Hey Ruby :) I'm so sorry you had such a bad night! I know that when I don't get enough sleep, I am extra anxious. That must have been extra tough having to babysit on top of feeling that way. -Oiy- But, you got through it and didn't die! Even though you were feeling so horrifying you still took care of what you needed to and I think that shows an incredible strength.
Try to get some sleep. It's the weekend so take it easy if you can. Don't make yourself do more than you can handle right now.
Remember, you'll be ok. You are stronger than you feel - I promise!
ruby sorry you had a rough night.maybe it was cause you are tired.try to have a great weekend.i take xanax and it helps me.i dont know about valium.
hugs!!!! gina
Hi Everyone,
I had a really bad night last night and today has been horrible too but I think that it was because of last night. I had to babysit two of my sisters children but the night before I had them I was awake until 3.30am. I was woken up by my sister at 7.45am with a knock at the door. She had turned up with the kids. So then I had them all day the kids left that afternoon and I didn't go to bed that night until 1.00am in the morning. Then I woke up 3 hours later which was 4.00am. I could feel an attack coming on. So I got up and went to the toilet. I washed my face with water after I finished and went back to lay down. The attack was getting worse, so I got up to take a valium to see if it would calm me down. Ten minutes went by after I took the valium and it was still getting higher and higher. It was terrible. In all the years I have had anxiety now this has to be the most horrible anxiety attack I've ever had. I was nearly in tears because it still wasn't going down. I nearly woke my boyfriend up to take me to the hospital. I ended up forceing myself to go to sleep. I don't know if the valium made it worse or not.
