Hi Os,

I replied to you in another thread but I wanted to add again here that when it comes to chest pain it is important to be assessed by a health care professional.

How are you feeling today?

Sounds like you've quit smoking!!!

Do not despair! Sounds normal to me. Your body is healing and going through life without the poisons that you have been delivering on a daily basis.

Get through it and all will be well.

I have to add that if symptoms persist or you are worried, consult your doctor but what you describe happened to many of us when we quit.

Congratulations on quitting. Keep going, one day at a time!

completed quit smoking for two weeks now..my chest dosen't seem to feel heavy anymore ever since I quit but sometimes whenever I made a certain movement I feel discomfort around my chest.. my left hand felt so tired sometimes and I feel like someone's poking behind my back under my left ribs..and now I have trouble sleeping, would take me an hour to be asleep and always woke up in the middle of the night...I did a blood pressure test and it turns out normal and I dont seem to have any headache or lost weight and the mucus I spit out seems white as normal..it dosen't seem black..has anyone been experienceing these symptoms? I would really love some advice. Thank you and sorry my English is not that good..could it be withdrawal effect? And exactly how long does it takes?
