Today seems so much better already :) Yes I think it was the combination of vacation let down and being home where I smoked every day I've lived here except for the last 60 days!
Congratulations on your fun trip and coming home to the 60 day mark.
There are a couple of possible explanations for the cravings you are having now:
1) I assume you were in quite a few new environments, where you have never smoked before. Therefore, you weren't running across old triggers. When you got home, the normal routines brought up the old triggers again. Kind of like, "Woah, I forgot about this!"
2) Sometimes returning from a really fun vacation can kind of be a big let down. I know I felt some of that let down when I returned from my road trip over the summer. Our old habits tell us to replace some of those lost good feelings with the stimulant of nicotine. (I actually know one person who relapsed after a very fun vacation for him. He said he missed all the excitement, and used cigarettes as a replacement.) That doesn't mean you need to smoke. You might just need to give yourself some other mild pick-me-up (in town trip to someplace you like, a little dinner out, time outside in the sunshine, a phone call to an old friend, etc.) as a healthier replacement. I also suspect that some of that let-down feeling will fade once you have settled back into your home routine for a few days.
Again, congrats on the having an awesome trip without one puff.
Back from my great American road trip, 2260 miles through 7 states!!! Not one puff :) Had a great time, saw tons of wildlife, lots of hiking, much to much food! It snowed 2 of the 3 days we were in Yellowstone but that make it kind of special even though visibility was reduced.
There was a smoker on the trip. I found it quite annoying...... She would go off and smoke right before we where getting in the van to move on and I had to smell her for an hour before it dissipated. A few times it caused a craving but mostly was just Stinky!!!
So here I was thinking I'm in the clear and when I get home I'm slammed with cravings. Must be the environment, after all I smoked here for 20+ years. But I will not smoke, that I know
