Lauren, I have lit my blessed Mother candle for you. You are not cramping and the blood is brown, not red wihich is a good sign, many many women spot in early pregnancy, brown blood usually means "old blood" from the uterus. I probably told you that I bled very badly with my son, not just spotting, very heavy flow with bad cramps, I was sure I was going to lose the baby, since I had a miscarriage after a auto accident once, even with all that bleeding and cramping, my son was born big and healthy, the hormones {progesterone}and HCG are good and that is good news, it probably would help if you could put your legs slightly over your head and have bed rest for a few days, that is what I was told, to let the uterus "settle down" the bleeding stopped when I did that, the OB could always give you progesterone or a quick suture to the uterus if you are very worried, tell the lady you watch the children for you need to bedrest a few days, I am sure she will understand, and try not to take any baths. I am going to pray very hard for you, you are NOT going to lose your baby, this will pass Lauren, I just know it in my heart, I am here for you anytime, I know you are scared, rest and this will go away. Sending angels, God bless, write me anytime. Debbie.
