Very intersting, I also analyze this with in myself as well. I didn't have
a bad childhood, wasn't babied wasn't ignored, ntohing like that that.
My only thoughts regarding this come to three specific things.
1) I remember being younger and when my folks would go out for the
evening I was ok, until it got close to the time that they were supposed
to be home. I would get terrified if they were late, thinking that
something terrible may have happened to them.
2) I just recently read online that there was study in NY about the links
to adolescent smoking and panic disorders, the numbers were quite
high, another possibility?
3) I used to smoke alot of pot when i was younger, when I say alot, I
mean alot...it got to the point where when I smoked I would have panic
attacks, at the time Ididn't know what they were, I just thought I was
too high, but that was enough for me to not smoke pot anymore. I was
fine for a few years, but than panic attacks started on there on without
being induced by any drugs.
At that time, I just dealt with it, no meds, no therapy and they went
away on their own, until 6 years late, they came back ten fold.
Those are my theories, I think that some of us are just overly sensitive
to our bodies, and any little quirk in our breathing/heartbeat/etc works
us up a bit.
