Hey everyone... I came back here, because I keep thinking about what I wrote in the original post. I have read everyones posts and I appreciate all your feedback. I think the support here is great. It is nice to know that you are not alone in what you are feeling. For me I think that for my first couple of days on this site, that I kinda overloaded my brain. I was trying to take in everyones symptoms and feelings, and it was just too much to process. I started feeling constant anxiety again, so I knew it was time to take a break. Let me state for the record, I should have said in the first post that -IN MY CASE- it is a chemical embalance. I 100% believe that. When my chemicals are balanced (with SSRI's), I am fine. Every time I slowly ween myself off, and I make it for like a week or two without my meds, It always comes back and hits me like a ton of bricks. Anyway, hope no one minds If I post every now and then. :)

I've thought many times like this, that perhaps it was a mistake to keep coming on the site because was just bringing myself down taking on other peoples problems? But I don't think I am doing that. People give me support and I hope I give it to them. I don't personally think anything will help me get rid of this anxiety until I decide I want to get rid of it. I'm not saying we all hang onto it because we want to, I just mean that I know what has caused mine. Its not a chemical imbalance, I wasn't like this two years ago and if I could just sort myself out I don't need to be like it now. Mine stems from being bullied at school about how I look, I wear glasses and people bullied me about it. It took away all my confidence and this is why i panic and have anxiety, I don't have enough confidence in myself to trust how my body feels so when I have an odd sensation or feeling I panic, I feel like I can't trust my own opinion. I wish everyone the best of luck and I like the support I get on this site.

I am dying to ask you what your friends are "dealing with" with their MS because I want someone to talk me out of thinking I have it, but I am afraid you will tell me they had a symptom that I have. How did they know they had it? Did they have vague symptoms that come and go on a daily basis (for example, when my "numbness" on my right side comes on, its stays for a few hours and goes away again, doesn't stay for weeks or months, like I have heard MS symptoms do) or did they have smack-in-the-face obvious symptoms? I have a cousin who has MS, she just woke up one morning and couldnt' walk. And it stayed that way. I have to think that if all my symptoms were from MS, they wouldn't be coming and going on a daily basis, but that they would stay longer. I have visual stuff, and muscular things that go on. I am currently seeing a neurologist for it. He hasn't done an MRI or anything yet. (grrr) Why do they make you beg for these tests??? Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you again. AP

antipanic (AP) I totally thought I had MS, if I had a pain in my legs or I was driving and I looked into the lights of an oncoming car and got that spot in my vision (does that make sense?) I thought "UH OH!" I have 2 friends that have MS and I know every thing they've been thru from beginning to now and I know what some of the things they deal with are. I hate that about me, sometimes I take on others illnesses, if someone has something, in my mind I think, "what if I have that?" Oh well....this site is AWESOME! I feel so much more at ease reading the posts. I hope you do too! REMEMBER:KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, KNOW PANIC AND HOW IT WORKS, USE IT TO HELP YOURSELF AND OTHERS.

Certain music helps me. I suggest STRONGLY going to Best Buy or Walmart and asking for Chris Tomlins CD called Arriving and listen to the whole thing. You will forget your anxiety for awhile. Mine is almsot gone and I have sufered for years. I keep it on in the car and in my home. I love you all and hope you have a relaxing weekend.

Christine - I hope you see this post. MS is what I am currently obsessed with, and what my anxiety keeps inventing symptoms for (I hope) Anyways, you mentioned MS in your list of past fears, what symptoms were you having that made you fear MS, and, how did you arrive at the point where you no longer believe you have MS? Thanks -- AP

Dreamer, I know how it feels to hear something and immediatley attach it to myself like: Heart attack, MS, stroke, brain tumor, anemia, hyper/hypo thyroid, you name it I've thought I had it. I want you to know what helps me. Seeing that other people have the same feelings I do, and giving advise ALWAYS makes me feel a bit better, because empathy is understanding, and the more we understand, the more we know, and that gives us knowledge! I hope to see you around here again! Christine

Dreamer - I get the impression that you misunderstoon Outlaws intent. I don't think he meant you affected him *negatively*, but rather, just the opposite. I wish you wouldn't go, we haven't corresponded much, but it seems like you have a lot of information in your brain that could help people. Maybe helping people would help you help yourself, know what I mean? I think the few posts I've read of yours have been great... AP
