Proud to march alongside a fine group of non smokers !
William - Free and Healing for Eleven Months, Twenty Four Days, 2 Hours and 1 Minute, while extending my life expectancy 43 Days and 21 Hours, by avoiding the use of 12638 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $5,772.31.
I remember the first 40 days of my quit - I was certainly in the wilderness during that period. I felt like that guard in the Mean Machine who kept failing to get back to the huddle after blocking a couple of Burt Reynolds passes with an unusal part of his anatomy. Befuddled is the word I think - both he and me!
Sunny but very cold in Good Old London Town today. 25 driving in at 7.00 this morning
Played football at lunchtime which was great fun and tennis follows after work in an hour or so. Both of those sporting events would defnitely have been out of the question 2835 days ago! Not today - sweet!
Snowed last night down to 28 and today will be in the 50s tomorrow 60 what in the hell happened to winter? Still a great day for a parade sun shining the air is clean no smoke for miles. Happy to join in today.
It's a beautiful day for a parade! The weather is nice. No stinky cigarette smoke in the air. Breath in the fresh clean air and fill your lungs! I'm 1,279 smoke free days today! Come on everybody, join the parade!
P.S. For those still on the fence, why not pick this Wednesday as your quit date? For those who celebrate it, Its the first day of Lent. Give up smoking for 40 days. Then since you haven't smoked for 40 days, take it one day at a time and keep it going! :)
