Thanks for mentioning the nausea. That is driving me crazy!!! I always feel nausea. But right now, when my acid refulx is acting up, it is the worst. I also feel like a tightness in my throat that is painful and runs down into the right side of my chest and eventually into my gut where the pain is just BURNING.
Some days it even is painful to swallow or I feel like it is a small airway.
My symptoms sometimes i dont even feel it come up its just in my throat,like bad nausea.When i do feel it,not really in the gut but in my chest like to the right and the middle,and yes in my back..I try to say if i gotta burp its not my heart etc..Gerd is a painfull deal,ive had it over 3 years i take aciphex 20 mg,prevacid didnt work for me,but for others it does..The medicine is exspensive,but it pays off,when your not in so much pain..

Just wondering where is your pain with your acid reflux? I have noticed that when mine acts up, It is down low in the gut (very bad burn) but it also hurts in the right side of my chest. NOT the middle of it. But the right side and straight through my back. That is like a stabbing pain and very annoying and painful.
I did go fill a RX. tonight at Walmart for prevacid and my insurance did not cover it. It cost me 140.00 for 30 pills!!!!! I cried but filled it anyway.
Just wondering what are your symptoms and where your pain is when yours gives you problems. :confuse:
