First off, Outlaw , I hate that you are suffering so. It is so terriable the things that you are going through.. I don't obsess about my heart any more, now it is about mental illness, and I get stuck in the feeling of unreality the you will read about in the book you just picked up from the library. The thing is as obsessive type people we tend to make excuses for our own obsessions. If you call the Medicaid offices in your area or the National offices, they will refer you to Physicians who accept there payments. It is time you went for a second opinion, and get the reassurance you need. There are two parts to OCD the Obsession and then the Compulsion to relieve the anxiety caused by the obsession. Allow your self to get a second opinion , it is time to find out who is right and who is wrong. Our minds got us to this state I am confident that somehow our minds can get us out. Get a second opinion you could be right, you could be wrong. We have to learn to live with uncertainty, but your symptoms aren't going to get better until you accept them as symptoms and I don't think you will until you have a second opinion. I suggested awhile back you ask your Dr. for a Thalium Stress test. This will reveal any type of Blood flow blockage if it exsist. If you have done a halter monitor, did you have symptoms that were recorded. You also mentioned to me that younger people don't do well on Beta Blockers, I don't know where that information came from, I know my Doctor has said differently and I know they worked for me. It is finding the right one and the right dosage. I know when I had anxiety the first time around I was given beta blockers to slow my heart down a bit.
I am not saying all this stuff to be mean dude... but I think for your own help and hope you have to get a second opinion and before you go tell yourself you are willing to live with a little uncertainty. Because We can always talk to ourselfs and say hey, they might have missed something, Or maybe I am the first person ever to have this uncharted rare heart disease.... Highly unlikely right. But your symptoms aren't getting better, so get a second opinion because you obviously don't believe the first one, But once that is done be willing to accept.... I am talking to myself as much as y
