Glad to see a good crew on board! I forgot about a day trip to the Old Course at St. Andrews for the golfers! |Don't worry Charm, crossing the pond is a piece of cake, or should I say a piece of cranberry biscuit!!!
On Saturday, I am meeting up with a bunch of SSC folks who leave near London for an afternoon visit. If anybody else is in the area and wants to join us, reply back and I'll let you know where we are meeting!
Count me in, Rock....heck if I can not smoke 20,000 cigs.....ANYTHING is possible......put me on your floating train and allow me to purchase Bass ale for all our smokefree buddies in the waterlogged bar car!
Rock, I would love to join you and the others for awhile. I have "The Boat" waiting for me . Charm will be joining me the day after and then we can party on!!! I will give her all the umbrella drinks and I will enjoy lattes and green ice tea all severed to us by the cabana boys . Plus the weather on the boat is sunny and warm.
Seriously Rock? It is all my friends and family can do just to get me on the other side of the Arkansas River
and you are asking me to cross the "Pond" as you call it.
But, I am going to try and do this, I mean, I did quit smoking, this should be a piece of cake .
I am not a big fan of trains going over water, so I'm thinking I will just take the slow boat and meet you guys their at the pub in time for the pint of Britian's finest.

London, England!!! With William and Kate announcing their engagement earlier this week, the city is abuzz with royal wedding plans! Let's visit Buckingham Palace and catch the Changing the Guard and the Royal Mews. The Tower of London has centuries of British History, along with the Crown Jewels that one day William and Kate will wear. Westminster Abbey and the royal crypts are fascinating, holding the remains of most British royals in beautiful fashion. A trip to London wouldn't be complete without a visit to the British Museum with the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court! For those who shop, shops on Old Bond Street and Harrods in Knightsbridge will provide plenty of ways to spend some GBP. Dinner will be a six course tasting menu at Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's, classic french with inventive twists in a glamorous Art Deco setting. Afterwards, we'll stop at a pub for a pint of Britian's finest! Don't forget your Umbrella!!!
