Making New Years Resolutions

For those less fortunate Browsers & Smokeret's out there the last i herd Joe Camel's in early retirement, all three versions of the Marlborough Men are 6 feet under from cancer + Nicotine Addiction ain't cool no more.
Times are a changing & you want to be hanging with the 'in crowd' so come on in & test the waters. Stop sitting on the fence, make that life changing decision you only dream about, you won't regret it. I know you want it.

Just think of a life of freedom, waking up in the morning / going to bed at night with not so much as a single smoking thought, no want for cigarettes & no nicotine withdrawal.

Wouldn't that be cool ? ... It's pure it's bliss.

No excuses, no time like the present, don't put off until tomorrow what you could do today, no more procrastination. Just do it !

You know what you have to do

fyi, i smoked for 15 yrs & quit cold turkey.... what a freaking ride !.

I will keep the quit and start to monitor the foods that I put in my body.  Time to cut back on soft drinks (pop) and say no to more deserts.

For the first time in 30+ years I don't have to do that stupid 'quit smoking' resolution that never seemed to work (until SSC!).  I get to give my daughter away in September and will be 40 lbs lighter when I walk her down the aisle.  That is only 4 lbs per month or 1 lb per week.  I am already counting carbs and monitoring intake.  Mission begins in earnest as soon as I finish this handful of Chrismas cashews.
Keep the Quit,

Dave

Congratulations on all of the hard work that you’ve done this year to get to where you are! Keep on working with the program and the support group and updated us on your progress.

The New Year symbolizes a fresh start and is the perfect time to make some new goals and resolutions to make this year as big or bigger of a success than the last one.  Take some time to set realistic resolutions and make some smaller milestones to help you get there.

Don’t forget to share your resolutions with us!

Samantha, Bilingual Health Educator
