We went and saw him in the ICU this afternoon. We were only allowed in for a few minutes but I think he looks great. He was pretty drugged up though. But he was talking to us and teasing his wife. I am very glad he did so well. I know it is thanks to everyone's prayers and thoughts.
Thank you all again for you support and prayers. The surgery went well, and as far as they could see, the cancer had not spread anywhere. I am very glad.
Dear Lauren, I will pray for your husbands grandfather I will light my candle at 8:00. Nowadays with modern technology surgery is succesful. It sounds like your husband and his grandfather are very close. Grace's post said it perfectly I thought. Thank you for your reply on the other topic, you were right the way I felt with the dizziness and pain I would not have been good support, I even started having chest pains which I never normally have. Please get some sleep tonight and know your husbands grand****her is God's loving hands. Please write and tell how it went. Debbie.
Lauren, I will most certainly pray for him. I do want to share something with you that i have learned over the years. Being a Christian, my faith in God is the most important thing in my life.
When we pray for a healing for someone we have to trust in God for that healing. If that person you are praying for passes from this earth, it does not mean God did not hear your prayers. He is always faithful in that aspect. His healing may come here on earth or it may come in TOTAL and COMPLETE FOREVER healing by calling him home to heaven.
I will pray for comfort, healing and above all perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.
I am sure you all know from reading my posts that my husband's grandfather is very sick. He has a rare cancer in his bile suct. He is in bad shape anyway, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis. Anyway, they are doing a very long involved surgery on him tommorow at 8AM. Please pray for him. I am so worried about him and all thoughts and prayers would be great!!!!
