Ruby, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. I HATE it when people say that. Like it is nothing. "I had a panic attack because I spilled the baked beans in the car." If you have never had one you absolutely do not understand the pure hell of it. I'm sure my husband thinks it is an excuse sometimes cuz he has never had one. He rolls his eyes and is like...."whatever, take a pill." It is really hard to live with this. I am glad I found someone to talk to who gets it.

Oh Lordy yes, we laugh. We have to laugh to keep from crying on most days. I am debating if one of us should sign up to play doctor so we can bring all of our crazy symptoms here. So glad you found us also, join our "Im not crazy just a bit unstable" group.

I know how you feel. I felt that way when I discovered this site. I didn't even know that there weas a suck thing as a panic disorder til I got it! And people always say "I am gonna have a panic attack" but they aren't. You know, just exaggerating. But the site has been great. You don't feel so alone.

Hi Jill, My name is Ruby I'm 32 years old and have had anxiety now for ten or so years. I am also glad that I found this site it has really helped me. I cannot thank the moderaters who run this site enough. And also the friends I have made on here for there support. Ruby............ :)

OMG!!!! I was on line googling all my crazy symptoms that I am sure are gonna kill me and looked to see if panic attacks can wake you from a dead sleep (because that keeps happening to me) and I found this site. I have had anxiety for over 9 years now but only lately has it been waking me up in the middle of the night. I call it "the dread." It comes and goes but is always lurking. But I always think I am dying and the doctors and everyone are wrong and then I found this site. I know it isn't funny but I have been sitting here laughing for 1/2 hour over the stories on this website because I have been there so many times and it just made me feel better to read about someone else driving to the emergency room in a snowstorm at 5 am because of a panic attack. I am so relieved to read the stories that others have been woken up too. The dread is back. Full force. I too am scared to lie down at night, then after the panic, I am nervous to go to work cuz what if I fall over dead there? I am so glad I found this site.
