Hi Paula, how are you doing. Hmm excuses... I think I may have been the "queen" of excuses.
In fact the day I began the Chantix we received news my mother in law has lung cancer. Junkie talking: Well it is probably to late for you to quit now, on and on.... ( and I was startin this quit... and the Chantix ... so my husband would quit "bugging" me.. ) I wanted to quit.. I just wasn't 100% committed. Well I thought.. it is NOW or NEVER. so I continued on the Chantix.. I found this site.. I did the work books, used tools, looked things up on the internet.. and I dedicated this quit to my mother in law.. and here I am over 100 days.
I have put the $$ aside.. I have rewarded myself.. I made friends here. I watch my meter and setting it back to zerro...
I have all the little sayings in my head.. I picture myself as a non smoker.. I know you really want this.... do it.. one day at a time...
