Hi everyone...I'm doing ok. I focused on packing over the weekend (I am closing on my first house at the end of the month). I ate alot of chocolate on Mother's day and went shopping. Spent way more money than I should have, but it was money that I could spend, so I did The hubby didn't even gripe at me since he is so proud of my not smoking. I did have to limit the celebratory champagne on Sunday to one glass only, b/c drinking causes me to crave. So I had one glass, then ate some more chocolate :)
The vet sent a sympathy card to my house, I received it today. LOL, never in a million years did I think I would be getting a sympathy card for a rat! I gave it to my nephew and he was very touched, I think his exact words were "Wow! I've never got a card from a vet before!". I bought him a small frame, and once we move I am going to print him a picture that I have of him with Mr. Whiskers on his shoulder. He is doing ok now, but it still makes me want to cry when I remember that how sad he was.
I am proud of myself though, b/c that day sucked! And I didn't smoke, not even one hit.
John, thanks for the laugh, I def will not miss that, or the cherry falling off onto my sweater made of some unknown fabric and almost catching myself on fire b/c it ignited! Def will not miss that!
