Glad you're getting through it. I have this theory about milestones and craves.....seems like many people are challenged right at a milestone or within a day or two. For myself, I think it is I am trying so hard to reach that particular milestone that once I reach it I kind of think it's going to be easier or something. Now, I like the milestones, but am aware that the milestone itself can trigger craves.
Anyways...congrats on your 50 days!!!!! and keep strong
Your quit buddy

Thanks Alohakeia, you must have known I needed the bump. I don't know why but tonight has been especially hard. I have been dealing with several urges to smoke. I have been through so many situations lately where in the past I would have smoked - a wedding reception, birthday dinner, dinner and drinks with friends, driving over 100 miles, but I never wanted to smoke as badly as I did tonight. I was just talking on the phone to my mom and the urges were incredible, the worst I have had in many, many nights. I told my mom about them (she is a former smoker) and she helped me, but it has been really hard tonight.
I know I will get through it, smoking is not an option.
Funny how I really haven't had any problems until now, within the last hour. Crazy.

Oh that helps to know why I'm going around saying
shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, all day long. 3 pks day 52 years. There was about nothing I did not
do and smoke. It's changed from smoke a cig to shut up.
