its crazy i still really think there is something wrong..what more could i do,like the guy weaing the 30 day monitor thats great, but ive had all the tests they say your finr trwat the anxiety no more tests..
nope, your not alone. I can easily convince myself that a educated cardiologist is wrong and I am right and there is a problem he is missing. lol
Just yesterday I was having those funky heart issues and felt terrible!!!
I have heart palpitations too.
Sometimes my rythm is just all off and sometimes it feels as though my heart has flipped over in my chest and stopped for a beat.
It's very unnerving and I have had EKG's done and the 24 hour holter monitor but all the tests come back fine.
Really none of this was going on prior to the anxiety and panic problems. It's so irritating to have these other things going on while having all the anxiety.
You're not alone.
I so know what you are going though! I am currently wearing the 30 Day holiter monitor, I have had the echo, and a 24 holiter monitor done. So far nothing has shown up wrong. Though in the back of my head something just doesn't seem right. I have had random rapid heartbeats, and night palpitations. They don't think its bad enough for medication, and think everything is fine. This 30 day monitor will tell for sure.
I also keep thinking there is something else wrong with me like Lukemia (sp) or something, even though my blood work is perfect.
I am sorry you are going though this, its no fun at all.
Hi Outlaw,
If you've had all the tests done and they've come back fine then I would say that its probably palpatations that your'e having. I get them as well, it is just a side effect of anxiety. I find when I get them I sit down nice and quietly and concentrate on my breathing, the key is to breathe from your stomach and not the chest, a way to make sure youre' doing it right is to put one hand on your chest and one on your stomach and it should be your stomach that is rising and falling. Take nice slow deep breaths - I find that usually does the trick and my heart returns to its normal rhythm.
Hope that helps!
Is it just me,or what, but i have had my heart checked holter monitor when i first got anxiety, and ekg's 5 years ago..Over the past year and a half 3 ekgs or so,a echo,a stress test, and echostress, and i still think my heart rythmn is off or something..i dont think i have heart disease, because of the blood work up.other test like the echo rule that out hmmm...the heart rythmn can get get crazy, and it feels like your heart just isnt right..i dunno just me what but im still convinced its bad..im a bad hypochodrtiac to though..
