That is a good thought.
I have asked my doctor even if she knows of a support group that I could go to like just once a week and she said there really is nothing.
I checked with my shrink and she also said there was not anything that she knew of.
When my anxiety is really bad there is almost nothing I can do except deal with it and all the pain. When my anxiety is lowe like it is now and I feel a attack coming on I will start deep breathing, go for a walk or take a hot bath. This stuff really sooths me.
bygrace: why don't you start up your own support group if you can't find one in your erea. I too have looked but there is nothing around and it would be nice to have that "life line"
i have a really good friend that i call... do you have auper supportive friend that you can call... not a family member, someone on the outside, that you can confide in??? its helps me a lot

What is the first thing you do when you feel a panic attack starting?
Have you found something that works for you or do you just start going with it and fall right into the panic zone?
Have you found any helpful tips that you can share for others to try?
For me, it is a fast and hot shower if I am at home. If I am anywhere else, I have to change where I am and ususally, BIG SIGH..pop a Xanax.
What do you find helps????
