Oh DJ!!
Don't think of yourself as a loser. You are not!! You are, as Audrey said, human. It may take a few goes before it sticks. The great thing is, you are not giving up and are trying different ways. Do try to figure out what is causing the slip ups and how you can avoid them. Learn all that you can from them. That way, all is not lost and you are closer to your goal of being a nonsmoker.
As long as you really want to quit, you can do it. It's not about luck, it's about determination and knowledge. It really does sound like you have the desire to quit!
Take care,
G

Audrey is right, DJ. We're all doing our best to beat the addiction. So you dropped the ball this time- keep going and find the place in your mind where you need to quit more than you want to continue feeding the nicotine receptors.... Look at Rockstar! She didn't quit just because she slipped. She got right back on the horse immediately. You do the same.
I hope Kristilu is getting her head back in gear too??

DJ,
Pick a new start date and get your resolve together. Go back through the SSC program again as a refresher and read the threads here that you think would be helpful to you. Quitters quit several times before they finally Stop smoking. For me it was 5 times. but this one feels good. You'll do it too DJ!

Well I am still going come on this website. I started again. I have tried everything. Now I'm going to work on this smoking thing another way. Might try hypnosis. I've quit cold turkey, I've use the patch, I did that really expense shot, the chantix. So got to work on another way. Feel like a real loser when I see all of you that have years in. Good luck to all of you. DJ
