Well, Lainey... here you are, a full year of your life has gone by... without a cigarette. I remember too well those first few days and weeks, and how we hung on to one another. In spite of how anxious we were, we were also so determined. We lived in the moment and learned how to live each of those moments in a way that we had not... since we were children. I knew from that first day that you were someone who wanted this as badly as I did, and I looked to you many times for the courage and the vision to keep myself believing. This place is what makes a quitter! You can start out with the worst of days, and your quit Buddies can lift your spirits up high enough to reach the Angels, because that is who you all are! Whether you are quit one day, or 1000 days, celebrating someone's quit/milestones is what keeps them going from one day to the next and that is what is so special, here in this place.
