Thanks tresa... I know I pissed a few people off my first few weeks here. i was just certain of my way of quitting. It worked so i was right, but that does not mean other ways are wrong.
Good to see everybody.

Hey Boots
Congratulations on getting thru "hell week". What a huge milestone in itself. I know how you feel about wanting a cigarette and trying to think of a way that no one will know. At one point i remember looking at the cigarette butts in the public ashtray outside. UGH! Remember, each day DOES get easier and some ARE tougher than others but stay strong and come here to get the support that you need!

Nice work! I have not logged in for months because i just forgot about smoking. Then today I was thinking I should go root on some newcomers so they know it's gets better.
Everyday it's gets easier and easier from this point. Great job. Enjoy your freedom.

Well done Judy, keep hanging in there and before you know it heck week will be over too! To answer your question, Champix and Chantix are the same thing (it's Champix in the UK too).

I believe they are the same. Chantix was a life saver for me.
Congrats on making it though the junkie chatter. That junkie loves to chatter and chatter, but soon he will quite down. You are doing great, both of you.
Boots, was the name of my mother's favorite cat. ;p Love the name.
Keep the Quit

Well hell week is almost gone both hubby and I are on day 6 and lovin the new smell in the house (fresh). For some reason yesterday day 5 was the toughest on me as hubby was gone and in my mind I was wondering how to get a cigarette and smoke it so that he wouldn't find out ... weird how many ideas you can come up with when you are really really really craving but I talked myself out of it and proud to say I won not the cigarette.
I'm curious as to does anyone know whether Champix Canadian and Chantix American .... are one of the same drugs?
Reading the posts over the week have really helped me pulled through this so I just wanted to say "thanks" .. I've made it thru 6 days and don't ever plan on doing those days again !!
