Thanks, you guys!
There's several of us counting down to the big 1 year milestone, and you know... it really is a big deal... for me anyway. There's something about making it that far that reassures me that... I can be smoke-free for just as long as I want to be... as long as I keep doing what I've been doing.
Most of you have been here since I showed up, or nearly... and I owe you a lot. You've helped me to keep my eyes on the road, and you've inspired me with your determination, your optimism and your success. So, thanks to all! I've been fortunate to have known you and to have shared this experience with you.
And to those of you who are starting out... my sincere wish for you is that you continue with this through the trying times, stick close to this site, and embrace the courage and conviction these folks help to instill. I know how fragile the attempt can sometimes feel in the first while... but that changes. You'll be stronger, and the new non-smoking you will feel more natural, with every passing month.
And remember, today is all you've got. It's all you've ever had... so live in it, and let tomorrow take care of itself. You only have to make the right choices for one day. Anyone can do that! :)
Thanks again, everyone!
