I feel more anxious than before and most of the time I feel like sleeping

HI NQ I also want to sleep all of the time and feeling anxious. I take medication for anxiety too. I would check with a professional to make sure it's nothing else besides quitting smoking that's causing it. I'm on Day 4 now and really getting cravings but I want to sleep all of the time too. It's part of the withdrawal process I guess. Just have to hang in there and take it moment by moment. NQ, Your body is going through withdrawals and you'll likely feel a little more anxious in the days to come. Physical activity has helped many relieve this withdrawal symptom. Your body does the most healing when it is sleeping. In addition, nicotine is a stimulant and without it you may feel more tired. We suggest writing down all of your symptoms and making an appointment to talk with your doctor about it and have them answer all of these questions. Brenna, Bilingual Support Specialist

I agree with what Sue posted. Speak with a professional to ease your mind. If it is withdrawl from nicotine, it will pass and you will feel great! Hang in there. it was for me and my husband and I think others here, but you should also check with your doctor. Fill the void with some exercise or walking, and this will help with the anxiety and pass the time in a productive way for you. sue My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 224 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,240 Amount Saved: $392.00 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 6 Mins: 46 Seconds: 11

Is anyone getting these symptoms ? Like sleeping the whole time and beeing anxious all the time. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety for a year and a half now , but my anxiety has become much more severe now after 2 days beeing smoke free, I am worried all the time and don`t feel good at all, I even lost my appetite for food , I don`t eat much and most of the day I sleep. Is this normal? I hope these things will change fast. :( My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/11/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 50 Amount Saved: 4.38 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 5 Mins: 1 Seconds: 58
