Hi Amy,
Welcome to the site. Please continue to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
About our Panic Program: This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.
If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Casey

Hi my name is Amy. I just want to start off by saying this is such a great program and I just started tonite...actually early this morning. I was laying in bed talking to my boyfriend about sex. Its a very touchy subject for me considering that I have problems with it. I started opening up to him about my past which wasnt good sexually. All of a sudden in my mind, I felt as though he was judging me and that triggered my panic. It was accompanied with the usual..heartracing, clamminess, numbness, wondering where I was going to escape to..and most of all..when my xanax was going to kick in. I tried the paper bag method for the first time and I felt as though I wasnt getting enough oxygen. Then I got stomach cramps and went to the bathroom and hardly anything came out. I decided to go online. I usually go into this chat room on Aol but most of them seem to just be clowning around in there. Then I came upon this wonderful site. I cant believe all this training is free. I just hope it works because I am definately dedicated to make it work. Ive been have panic attacks for about 2 yrs now. At first I would only get them once every 3-4 months and they were very mild. For the past year I've been getting them every week on the average. I take 2 mg of xanax but only when I need them. I dont want to take a medication daily. I refuse. The xanax definately help with this but I realize its temporary. TextText
