I guess stomache/digestive problems have been my most consistant and troubling symptom of anxiety. I feel nauseous almost constantly, sometimes followed by "butterflies". Eating does help stop the fluttery feeling but after I eat I experience extreme pains in my stomache and feeling as though I will vomit.
Since I have been dealing with these symptoms for for a year and a half, I have found a few helpful methods. I find if I eat slowly and keep my mind distracted while eating i.e. watch a movie, listen to music or engage in conversation, it helps to lessen the symptoms. Also, I try to eat early in the day and not too close to bed time. Vitamin B complex and acidopholous pills were reccomended to me by my naturopath(sp?). I have just started using them and I will let you know if they help. I totally relate to how you are feeling, I hope this helps you.
