Hi everyone,
Just a reminder to be on the safe side - for anyone who is experiencing this symptom and has not yet been to the doctor - please be sure to get it checked out. It will help to give you peace of mind if the doctor is able to rule out any other causes and that it is due to anxiety.

I hate chest pain because you never feel good or comfortable with it.
I think that's because you keep thinking what if this time is the real thing? You're 99% sure it's a panic attack but there's that lingering 1% and that's when your mind runs off the list of possible problems and that is what causes the panic I believe.
ohhhh yeah. I get chest pain. It freaks the heebie jeebies out of me some times. Right now, the tension between my shoulder blades is terrible. Sometimes the chest pain is very sharp and last only a moment, but it is enough to make me have a panic attack. I too have had it checked out and was told it was all anxiety related. I hate chest pain because you never feel good or comfortable with it.
Chest Pain is a common effect of anxiety and panic attack. You should get a physical check up from your doctor to rule out physical causes and then talk to him/her about anxiety. There are other treatment options, like counseling, that may be considered, but the first step is make sure it isn't a physical problem. Hyperthyroid and some other physical conditions can cause anxiety and all its really fun side effects.
Good Luck.
I get alot of chest pain with my anxiety, had it checked at hospital but all was fine, does anyone get a pain in the centre of the chest and a pain between the shoulder blades or is this just another anxiety sensation
