Question for ladies

My anxiety skyrocketed when I stopped taking the pill (can you believe it??). My panic does get worse whenever my hormones change, as well. I took Alesse 21 and I have endometriosis as well. No side effects, except for the regular panic attacks. Give it a try. If you hate it, you can always stop taking it.

Ok, now I have ovarian cysts which the dr. wants to put me on birth control to manage. I know we have discussed here that our anxiety is worse at that time of the month. Has anyone tried the Pill to control anxiety at that time of the month? Which one works the best as far as not causing mood swings (anxiety or moodiness/depression)? I am utterly terrified to take the Pill for fear it could trigger my anxiety/panic. My doctor has been suggesting it for years because I have endometriosis but I'm so afraid of the hormones causing an episode that I have refused all these years. Has this happened to anyone, that the Pill increased attacks? Thanks for your help. Rachele
