Normal Panic Symptom?

for 20 år siden 0 274 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Yah, I think it's a normal pattern of anxiety....Sometimes we are o.k. and sometimes we are not. I just rented the "What About Bob" video again, and found it very funny and comforting. "Bob" is a typical phobic person, but it turns out that after all, most people have some sort of phobias, panic attacks, etc. Bob becomes "cured" when he finds a family that loves him, even though his therapist hates him. It is quite funny, showing how any day might go.

Could someone please tell me if this is a "normal" panic thought pattern. I have already explained here how I have obsessive thoughts/worries about hurting myself or the purpose of life when panicking. However, when I am having a lull in my panic during the day it seems that my thoughts swing just the opposite, that everything in my life is ok, I am motivated to exercise or think about volunteering, planning for future, etc. Then, WHAM! my panic can come back minutes or hours later and I will be all negative thoughts again. Does anyone else experience this fluctuation in thinking during the day?!?! This swing in thoughts also makes me panicked, I just need to hear that this is a part of panic to put the fear out of my head. Thanks, Rachele
