for 17 år siden 0 1543 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
It is normal. I had them too. Gosh.... 6 months quit. That is wonderful. It will ease up. Honest. They will still come and go. I know it seems like they will never end...but I am trusting all the ones who have been there.....done that. They must know what their talking about. Keep going. Hello Angelcapp, You are doing so awesome, out there in front!!! I've been looking forward to this more than I can tell you. The craves are a part of this and you must admit, nothing compared to the early days. They're more of a joke in comparison; a petty annoyance. You're next door to six months smoke free!! Did you think you would do so great? Doesn't seem fair does it? 180 days and still craving. "Craving" big difference than "smoking again". I am so grateful that you posted. I went though hell Friday and Saturday, but I did not smoke. Why? Because wonderful people like you post about it and I know it is normal. It's hard but we can get though it. Back to the basics. Water, read, post, exercise, hollar at the moon, healthy snacks, rest, and just don't smoke. Anglecapp... You are not alone. Many of us go through and have been through what you are experiencing. They say it takes 12-18 months to quit smoking because we have to go through all the seasons and all the triggers. It sounds like you are doing great! Have you replaced smoking with something else? If not, you may want to try this. When I quit, I had a peppermint instead of a cigarette after dinner, when I was bored, when I normally would have smoked. Some use gum and other things to replace the cigarette. Drink plenty of water too. You must admit, these craves are nothing like they use to be in the beginning! You are doing fine. Don't forget the deep breaths as well.
