Thanks all! It has been quite the journey. Lately I have been focussing on getting back to running 5 miles a day and other healthy habits. This weekend I went down to Kima boardwalk (League City, TX) and celebrated 5 months smoke free--even went to bars and had no desires to smoke.
Keep a positive attitude and each day gets easier. I can actually say I have gone a couple of days without thinking of smoking. Now after 5 months coming here to this site is a double edged sword...good for getting support and sharing milestones, but for me I think it makes me focus on my old habit more than I want to. I still come here to keep track of all those who quit with me, just have cut it back to once a week or so.
