Well, mercy, come on up! You can stay at my non-smoking place (it's small but goats don't need much room & they aren't picky eaters) & I'm sure you'll find a lot of very cool things to photograph! Thanks for the reminder about teh full year. I'm just surprised because Stampede hasn't been a big deal to me for a long time. But when I did used to go, yeah I smoked my face off so I guess that association is still there.

Unhooked
Remember...we have to experience a year doing all lifes things we did as smokers without cigarettes.
You can do this...and you will have mastered yet another smokning event.
I'm tackling one right now. I having an out of town guest coming in a few days. I use to love to smoke and clean and make the house pretty.
I have had a few hard craves....but as I proceeded and did what I needed to do I found I got the job done and still enjoyed it.
Thank goodness for Michael Bluble' cranked up loud and coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamin in it. ;)
Your gonna do it..... I know you are.
Mercy
ps: I have ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO THE STAMPEDE.
I am a travel fanatic. I love to see everything and anything.
I'm jealous!!!

This is the weirdest thing. This Friday wil be the opening day of the Calgary Stampede, my first smoke-free Stampede ever & I'm excited about that, although Stampede itself has lost most of its attraction for me & I haven't doen any Stampeding in years. Anyway, every time I think about Stampede, see the decorations going up, people walking around in cowboy hats, hear it mentioned on TV, I get such a crave!! I have plans for Tuesday evening at a famous c/w bar that I haven't been to in probably 15 years & I almost taste a smoke when I think of it. I'm not going to smoke of course, it's kind of funny to me actually, but how bizarre is it to have post-dated cravings??
