Hi freshUK and welcome to the site.
It sounds like you have been doing a lot of homework on these tiopics which is great to hear. I'm sure others will be posting their replies soon.
Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physicians advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When youre finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.
If you have any questions or concerns with our "TOOLS" you can contact our support department at support@paniccenter.net.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Casey

Hi, yes NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and is a sort of communications psychology. It breaks down modes of learning and communication. It uses things like visualisation and anchoring to overcome anxiety issues. Thats a very broad description from someone who doesn't know all that much about it. However I'm sure there would be a lot of info on google if your interested to find out more.
Hi all, i have had a good read of this site and there seems to be lots of top information and a lot of people who all understand each others problems.
I have suffered from GA and had stronger attacks for around 2 years and tried just about all the different meds the doc's can prescribe me. It started after I ended up in hospital after a seizure (although I am not epileptic and have never had another). Since then I have started reading heavily into psychology and NLP, to try to find a way to cure myself. The change in my personality has been so drastic I went from never being nervous about ANYTHING to now nervous about everything and having mild agoraphobia.
I would appreciate any information anyone else has found useful as I am finding reading as much as possible is helping slowly. Also I have read about the Linden method? although everyone seems sceptical about this I would love to read some. If it helps it helps! If anyone posts their address, then I'l get back to them. thanks
