Yes Dona,
When Im more nervous, nothing come out right. If I do talk, my sentences dont make sense. It is like Im trying to convey something, yet aware of my surroundings at same time, and the two go together. Example- If I meant to say "Did you watch that program on TV last night?" and happen to glance during my conversation at the wall and see the curtains, it will come out "Did you watch the curtains on TV last night?" And it goes on, and on. I think its too much awareness the scanning of our bodies symptoms, surroundings, etc. that comes with anxiety/panic. Havent you ever noticed on those kind of days, when the TV volume is normal, is sounds to overwhelming and blaring at these times, and the time creeps by? It like a slow motion effect of the day. The daylight seems to bright, the noises more pronounced, trying to sit makes the adrenaline surge, that you just get up.
