dear Axtremgurl
I know what you are going through with this agrophobia, i too suffer very badly with it. for me, its worse than the panic attacks itself. The best advice i can give you is to take it slowly, pick something that isnt too duanting for you, and stick at it till it becomes easy. its all too easy to try to do too much at once and for that to scare you into giving up trying. Its all about confidence, you have to build that up slowly, not run before you can walk. you also have to be honest with yourself and tell yourself what you can do right now, and what would be too hard at the moment. dont beat yourself up because some things seem too hard, you will get there, it just takes a little time, and lots of practice. I spent months hiding in the house, too scared to go outside. that is until i practiced sitting in the garden for an hour, then two, then moving on from there. now i'm able to go for long walks with ease. Still some things i cant do, but you have to focus on your achievments, and just push yourself just a little each time things seem just that bit too easy.
not an easy thing, this agrophobia, but it can be beaten, as i'm sure you will beat it also.
Best wishes
