Forgot to add, I would call both first before making an appointment, and ask flat out, their experience in dealing with panic disorder, if so what type approach do they take? Cognitive Therapy, Breathing techinques, etc. If them kinda evade their direction of approach, and just state we will talk about it in our session, go with the other. I cant tell you the numerous times Ive wasted my time and # visits permitted, only to have been let down by someone who has no idea or qualification on dealing with panic disorder. I wish you much luck. I never seemed to click right off with anyone, until I finally broke down and paid out of pocket to a specialist, then after 6 months of treatment I was in remission for 3 yrs (mind you at the time, I was unable to drive anywhere, agoraphobic, and try to keep my job as well, raising two kids, etc. )
