Davy, Check your blood pressure. I think patches...gum...etc can raise blood pressure. I have normal blood pressure. I took my blood pressure on vacation at some drug store. YIKES> It was outta sight. I was ready to buy a pack of cigarettes and a Hersey Bar to go with it. LOL LOL (only kidding) I did feel a little let down. I began eating more natural and organic in November...quit smoking and did not gain weight quitting....and felt I should be rewarded with some health benefits. When I saw the blood pressure I said..."What the heck!!" I am going to check it out. I had the numbness and pricklies before I quit and it has improved since I quit. It could be your body getting used to the improved circulation. But because smoking also masks other problems it nmight be worth a trip to the Doc. Keep quit! I Quit smoking on Feb 2 of this year. I used the Habitrol stop smoking patchs. I used all three steps for two weeks on each step. In the the past two weeks I have had numbness and pricky feelings in both legs, feet and my right arm. Sometimes my feet feel cold, but not to touch. I just want to know if this is related to quiting or is it something else.
