Hi jersy,
I'm only into day 14, but I had that horrible rollercoaster craving going just a little while back and I found it terribly disturbing...
What I did was go for a very very long walk and self talk at the same time. I found that inhaling the fresh air and walking briskly 'burnt' off the cravings. If you can get up and walk around or go outside on your break/lunch if you're at work. If it still persists when you get home grab some fruit and a water bottle and go for a walk before dinner.
It's a horrible feeling especially when it seems that it will never end. It does so hang on tight hon.
Also, I'm using the patch as well and if you don't feel real comfortable by Sunday to step down why not just go one more week on the patch you are using now? *just a suggestion*

Hi everyone
Today is day 37 for me and I got up this morning wanting to have a smoke. The cravings are coming so fast that it feels like just one that will not go away. I am angry, furious, and emotional all at the same time. Why is it so intense? I am stepping down to step 2 this coming Sunday and I am nervous. I do not want to smoke but man oh man I feel that I can not be left alone for a minute. Thank god I am at work. This has got to get better because this out of the blue craving is weighing me down big time. With all the candy and gum chewing I am sure I will need to see a dentist!!!!!!!!
Take care
Jersy

Hello Everyone
I am doing much better today!!!!!!!!! I have listened to all of the advice and will use it as well. I have been drinking lots of water since yest. and I really never drunk it before because I did not like it. It has been helping and watching t.v. really keeps the mind going. I watched Charmed with my son every night. You guys are the best I just wanted to let you all know that and your support means so much.
Thank you
Jersy
