I have only taken mine after my evening meal, which is sometimes quite late (8 pm).
I notice that when I take it within an hour or two of going to bed, my great dreams are almost guaranteed.
If I take it 4-5 hours before bed, I may or may not have dreams.
If I forget to take it, chances are I don't have any dreams.
Kinda weird, but that's the way it's been working.
