I stopped my Zyban last week, felt really tight inthe chest Wed and Thursday, slept in Fri forgot to take pill, felt Ok. Remembered Sat felt really bad, not had one since. How long does Zyban stay in your system for? might have a free trip to Costa Rica comming up = malaria pills. Also not had one, loads of cravings and loads of "ohh i used to have a ciggie when i did that" times. Lastly lungs up 30 Litres now on 440, which has made me feel really good after 6 weeks or what ever it is since i first had the blowing thingy. HUH??? I know there's really good stuff in this post, but I'm not quite able to get it. Losing it somewhere between Zyban and malaria. Me, I went off the patch a little sooner than I should have, and am now going off Zyban probably sooner than I should, but there comes a point when you want all the crap out of your system, no? Here's how I see it: Nicotine was gone after Day 3, so after that, everything became a matter of personal maintenance. Drugs in, drugs out, doesn't matter: I still want to smoke (every now and then). Ultimately, it's not about the Zyban: it's about us and our own commitment to The Quit. If I were you, angel-spider-person, I would shift my attention from the tools/accessories/drugs/whatever to myself: the question I would ask is, "What do I need right here, at hand, to make my quit succeed?" The stakes are high; you have to ask the right questions. They have to be about you and your addiction, nothing else. peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 38 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,944 Amount Saved: $209 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 19 Mins: 16 Seconds: 53
