I would like to take a moment to apologise to anyone that might think that i have been to confident , full of myself , arrogant in my previous posts. Maybe i have been. But i have on a hole until tonight been OK . Until tonight, tonight i wanted to scream, swear, shout, punch, kick , hate, i have been angry, frustrated, anxious, and frightened. I want every body to feel how i feel that will show them. But its not right i cant, i couldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Right now i hurt, And the thing that really pisses me off most about it, Its all my fault. I have had chance after chance to stop, gave up for two years went to a wedding had one, what harm could it do. Well i am here three years on.Had one of the best opportunities earlier this year, you'll love this one. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer not directly linked but come on if that's not the kick up the arse you need what is. any way my treatment had finished three weeks ago and fine for now. But i still smoked. Until Sunday, and i am hanging on, like all of you hanging on, we can beat this we have to. I might wake up tomorrow and feel great again but right now i hurt. But i know together we can do it. Or whats the alternative. I am SO there, Alexander -- had a pretty good first week and got all cocky. Am I paying for it now! Maybe you can learn from us and figure out a way to pace youself, but I have no idea how! Glad you're still around, though. peteg My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/30/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 18 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 915 Amount Saved: $99 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 4 Mins: 59 Seconds: 24

Kicking, screaming, swearing, shouting - Looks like you are just about right on schedule for day 4! Get some exercise to burn off that anger, call it a night early, drink lots of water, reward yourself...and keep telling yourself...IT WILL GET BETTER....IT WILL GET BETTER! This is how the quitting process works, and at times, it sucks. But the good news is, it gets a little better every day. Take this quit one situation at a time. Don't look too far ahead. For every situation you get through, give yourself a hearty pat on the back. And remember, these are all signs that your body is healing. Ridding itself of the some 4000 deadly chemicals in each and every cig! Remember to keep posting right here, we're here for you, Alexander. You'll make it. Alex, You are not the only one and this is normal, sorry for the clich! This is something you can help along. Use relaxation techniques and take some you time. Take the time to reward yourself and pamper yourself :) The members have provided some great advice, so take what you need and call if you need us :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
